At the Opel training centre in Rüsselsheim, service mechanics and vehicle mechatronic engineers from around Europe are trained every day on a range of different modules and subjects. The aim is to offer a uniform, modular training programme so that the same level of knowledge exists across the entire Opel organisation.

For its courses on charging technology and the power supply during diagnosis, software updates and showroom presentations, the Opel training centre decided to switch to the approved Fronius battery charging systems. The competitor devices used previously no longer met Opel’s requirements. After Opel had tested the Acctiva battery charging systems and approved them for workshop and showroom use, the training centre in Rüsselsheim also wanted to add the revolutionary Fronius charging technology to its portfolio.

As part of their training course, participants are given intensive training on Fronius battery charging systems to satisfy them of the level of functionality of Fronius charging technology for their day-to-day activities in the workshop.
